I love the change of seasons and fall is my favorite! The leaves change their color and the weather is breezy but not too cold. My theme this year, “Cruising to New Horizons” reminds me of the changing seasons. I cruised to a new horizon in my personal life this year when I moved from Houston to Dallas. What an experience that was! However, I have renewed many friendships as well as made new friends during this time. Each of our horizons may be different as each member wants something different from their membership in NAIW. I believe that NAIW has something for everyone. I would like to challenge each of you to increase the value of belonging to NAIW whether it be on the local, state, regional, or national level. NAIW offers a variety of courses, leadership opportunities, networking, and training to help you and your members achieve your goals.
